Jewish Camp Summit FAQs
Q: What do I need to know about conference check-in?
A: Conference check-in will be on Skybridge level, on the second floor. You will need to show your photo ID to get your conference nametag.
Check-in for the JCamp 180 Conference and Jewish Camp Summit will open at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, 12/8. The JCamp 180 opening plenary will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom
Check-in for Leaders Assembly will open at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, 12/9. The first program will begin at 2:00 p.m. If you already checked into the Jewish Camp Summit on 12/8, you do not need to visit the check-in desk again.
Q: Do I need to download the Bizzabo app for the conference?
A: We strongly encourage and ask all participants to download the Bizzabo app which can be downloaded here.
Q: How do I view and customize my conference schedule?
A: You can view the conference schedule on our website by following this link and logging in. To view the schedule on the Bizzabo app, open your app, login, and click on the schedule tab at the bottom.
Q: Where can I find the Bizzabo conference community and edit my profile?
A: You can opt into the community by following this link or access on the community tab in our app. To edit your profile, click the hamburger menu on the top left and click “My Profile”. From there, you can make changes via the “Edit” button on the top right. Don’t forget to save!
Q: Will there be WiFi at the conference?
A: Yes! There will be free WiFi available in our programming spaces. Use the following login for WiFi access:
Q: What time is hotel check-in and check-out?
A: Hotel check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out is at 12:00 p.m.
Q: I am driving to the hotel, where can I park?
A: If you would like to park in the hotel garage, there is valet parking with a rate of $84 per day. For more information, click here.
Q: Will the meals be kosher? Will there be snacks?
A: Yes, and Yes! All food served throughout the Summit will be certified Kosher under the supervision of the Chicago Rabbinical Council (CRC). All meals are dairy-free, though dairy creamer and milk will be available with Monday's breakfast alongside non-dairy creamer options. We encourage all participants to bring a reusable water bottle - hydration stations will be available throughout the hotel.
Q: What dining options are near the hotel?
A: The Chicago Pedway, accessible from both towers of the Hyatt Regency, offers convenient access to several food and coffee outlets. Additionally, the area surrounding the hotel features a variety of dining options, perfect for enjoying a quick bite or a warm cup of coffee. If you are looking for Kosher restaurants, you can find a list of certified establishments here.
Q: Is there a “dress code” or anything I need to bring?
A: Conference attire is “camp” business casual on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday – nice jeans, khakis, comfortable shoes, and sneakers are welcome. On Wednesday, attendees are encouraged to show their camp spirit by wearing their favorite camp-branded attire! We’ve got spirit, yes, we do. We’ve got spirit, how ‘bout YOU?!
Q: If I have questions onsite, where should I go?
A: During the gathering, we will have staff on-site to assist with any questions. If you have questions about programming, meals, or your schedule, visit our help desk at the canteen in our programming space. If you lose your nametag or need a new one, please visit conference check-in on the Skybridge level.
